You might have seen a trailer for this project last year, when it was looking for money on Indiegogo. Well, it managed to raise that cash and meet its post-production goals so Hardcore, a movie shot entirely from a first-person perspective, is on its way.
The movie debuted over the weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival, and to go along with that the team behind it released this trailer.
WARNING: NSFW
Hope you’re not squeamish. About violence or first-person action.
If you’re wondering how they made it, the entire movie was shot using a special GoPro camera (below). It stars Sharlto Copley (District 9), and is set during a single day in Moscow, where it appears everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

Hahah this actually looks like it’d be great fun, not to mention a little wake up call for those that think movies and games always need to be so serious 🙂
The camera rig looks like a re-appropriated prop from Saw.
Looks great. Look forward to the movie.
I can’t help but feel I might get motion sickness after watching a whole movie. There is a reason I disable headbob in games.
Looks great. Here’s the original short they made before the full length movie:

Hotel Inferno was a good attempt at a FPS movie. The story let it down a little in the end, but overall it was a good FPS horror experience.
