The next entry in Atlus’ beloved RPG series was supposed to come out this year. But that ain’t happening. Persona 5 won’t be out until the summer of 2016.
The delay was announced via a new TGS trailer and comes after Atlus had repeatedly said that they were on track for a 2015 release for Persona 5, which is being developed for PS3 and PS4. You can get a look at the game in action here.

I never thought this game was coming this year despite ATLUS saying it would. I was hoping to be surprised though 🙁
Looks sooooo good. MC’s swagger is amazing. Right up there with Ezio.
I was in exactly the same boat – hoping for a “Surprise, Merry Christmas!” announcement at one of the big shows despite knowing better. 🙁
