Those who live in the UK are in for a special treat. Large scale beer brewer Carlsberg is teaming up with Bethesda for Fallout 4: The Beer.
Knowing recent Bethesda marketing practices, I’m surprised they didn’t announced it after it was already in my belly. Punters can get twelve bottles for about $64 from Amazon, with free shipping directly to your shelter.
It’s available a few days before the actual game hits, presumably so people can order in bulk before not going outside for a long, long time. Thematically appropriate, I guess.
On the actual brewing of the beer, no one should be expecting anything special, but the description has this to say:
Fallout beer has been brewed using a unique blend of malted barleys combined with selected hops, to produce a light coloured lager with a fruity aroma and a crisp bitter finish.
Sounds pretty vague. It’s probably just normal Carlsberg. Would you pay extra for the Fallout label?

Beer wouldn’t have been the first thing I’d associate with Fallout. Missed opportunity for Coke or Pepsi to release a Nuka-Cola product.
