Dayshot: Chrono Trigger started out with a boy and a girl running into each other at a fair. Only, the fair I remember was way less 3D.
This piece of 3D fanart, built in Unreal Engine 4 by 3D modeler Michael Barrington, is a hand-painted recreation of the main and portal areas of the Guardia Millenial Fair. It took a bit over a month, and it ended up looking quite good, as the pics and the flythrough video show:

It’s like they’ve taken a quick video out of an alternate (and much better) universe where Crono gets a faithful remake.
