We’re all aware of Conan O’Brien’s ‘Clueless Gamer’ series, where he reviews (and is terrible at) video games.
For Fallout 4, Conan has taken it to the next level.
Correction, Conan has taken it to the next level with the financial assistance of Bethesda, which makes the whole thing a little less cool, but let’s be honest — it’s still fun, and at least the show has been explicit about it with a ‘Promotional Consideration Furnished By Bethesda Softworks LLC’ message at the end. I guess they can get away with it because it’s Fallout 4 and everyone loves Fallout 4 right?
The Gilmore Girls jokes, at least, are funny.
As for the ‘review’ itself, it’s entertaining enough, but if you’ve seen one Conan review you’ve seen them all. He sucks, he falls off a cliff, he dies, he tries to make the characters have sex. Good times.

So which vault is Conan oriented in?
You could really see the promotional consideration in play during his Tony Hawk Pro Skater review:
He didn’t have anything bad to say about it at all.
To be fair he plays the stuff before it comes out and the devs probably tell him they’re bugs that will be fixed.
Cute, but dumb. So dumb.
I was under the impression that all of the clueless gamer segments were paid advertisements.
Lol, how insecure do we have to be about advertising? Can’t put too much of a positive spin on the story otherwise someone passionate about “legitimate journalism” in gaming will get angry, can’t crap all over it either because it’s kinda funny… Instead we have to awkwardly cater to everyone by acknowledging every political perspective to a CONAN O’BRIEN FALLOUT SKIT so as not to incite rage. We are almost attempting to model reasonable perspectives to people.
