Capcom are making a big deal of supporting the PC from the outset with Street Fighter 5, and on their blog this morning they announced that there’s another platform besides the PC and consoles that they’ll be coming to.
“I’m excited to announce that Street Fighter V will be officially supporting Steam OS! We are working closely with Valve on this endeavour, and will have more details to announce in the near future, so stay tuned for updates,” Capcom said.
The company added that support for the Steam controller would be available from launch. You’ll even be able to test SF5 out with Valve’s gamepad in the next beta phase, which kicks off later tonight and runs throughout the weekend.

So the game will offer cross platform play over PS4, Windows and Linux.
I wonder how many more platforms they’ll need to add before Microsoft reconsiders forbidding cross platform play on Xbox One?
They’re not anymore: KI and a few other games are already planning on cross-play (and cross-buy, for that matter).
Cross-play between PS4 and the ‘Bone is another matter entirely, though, and not one on which I think Sony would be likely to be cooperative, either.
… edited because I’m an idiot and didn’t read your comment properly
