All the playable classes of Diablo III have already got a Heroes of the Storm version, except the Wizard. But those days are over. The Wizard, called Li-Ming, is the next hero joining the ever-growing roster of Heroes of the Storm.
It’s not just her appearance that remained somewhat similar to Diablo III. Some fan favourite abilities got transferred from Diablo III as well, such as her Teleport ability, and the still pretty cool looking Disintegrate. And the various skins represent certain sets and legendaries from Diablo III.
The spotlight video shows all the abilities in action. Arcane Orb looks a bit tricky to use, but it’s quite powerful:
Game director Dustin Bowder revealed more details about Li-Ming and another upcoming hero, Xul the Necromancer (no spotlight video for him yet, but he’s back!) in this video below, shared by Razer. Be sure to check it out if the small preview above wasn’t enough.

Just putting it out there, but Xul is much more noteworthy than the wizard class. It is just a shame that his abilities were no where near as funny as when Diablo 2 first hit the streets.
“RELEASE THE HORDE!”
*Summons 20 skeleton warriors, 20 skeleton mages and an iron golem*
I can still hear the terror of my mate in another room back in high school as he tried to jump me in the cow level as his Palli’, it was a short fight.
My dialup connection hated necros. 52kbps was not friendly when you had a 8 party of Necros.
I never had a problem at 400+ ping back in the dialup days, then again, I was a Necro with a Bonespirit setup, Marrowalk boots and Enigma Armour, about +15 to all skills and 1 point in all summons. All I had to do was revive a Gargantuan or a larger monster, teleport and all my minions would get stuck on top of me and I wouldn’t take damage or be targetable by players hahahaha!
Oh what was that Mr. Barbarian with Whirlwind? How about a maxed out Iron Maiden while you hit my minions and not me and die instantly!
Mind you this is going back to 1.07 which was like, 2004. Oh the memories.
