Yakuza 6 isn’t out yet, but holy crap, it already looks incredible.
In this footage from the demo, Kazuma Kiryu walks in on a guy brandishing a knife at a convenience store clerk. The guy tells him to buzz off and orders his goons to beat Kiryu to death.
So, Kiryu punches the hell out of them — and the convenience store!
Looks like you can do even more damage than what’s shown in the clip.

After the fight, Kiryu apologises to the clerk for destroying the store, but the clerk says not to sweat it because it’s insured and thanks him. He then gives him a drink.
That’s nice and all, but you know what would make gamers all over the world thank Kiryu? A localised Yakuza 6 release.
The game will be out later this year in Japan, exclusively on the PS4.

Please give us this sometime before the goddamn PS5 comes out.
Thank you.
I don’t get this series. I played the zombie one and it was terrible.
The zombie one was a terrible indication of the series rough diamond quality
Because that one was bad.
Yeah, I tried to like these games, but just found them insanely boring. The vid above doesn’t really look all that crash hot either, AI seems a bit special lol
This looks like a dated Ryse: Son of Rome.
Pass.
Wtf, ryse was an amazing game. Especially on pc at 60fps.
Whoah! Who brought out the haters today?
There’s a reason for so many Yakuza games as the tend to be fully featured and unique experiences.
I’m loving Yakuza 5 like I have loved all the yakuza games I’ve played (3, 4 and Dead Souls).
If I can finally beat up the shelves between me and the exit in the convenience store my only complaint about Yakuza games have been answered!!
