Nice art!
Pre crisis supes would still snap him in half.
Yeah I was thinking that. I know nothing about DC and little about Marvel. Saitama is (afaik from the anime) just incredibly physically strong and fast to the point of physics breaking madness. I’m sure anyone with a power of some kind could beat him, something time based or w/e. There are some very omnipotent op characters in the DC / Marvel universes.
There are only 2 omnipotent characters in marvel and DC. Though Marvel’s doesnt seem to be omniscient.

The problem is both DC and Marvel keep one-upping themselves. They make an ultimate baddie (or hero) then they decide they need to make a bigger threat and a bigger hero to take them down. That’s why you have Galactus, Thanos, The Beyonder, the Elders, Phoenix Force, Sentry and on and on and on. Sooner or later there’ll be “the one above the one above all”. And DC is just the same.
Nope.
Saitama’s powers are driven by narrative convenience.
His strength is whatever it needs to be to finish the fight in one punch with a punch line like “normal punch” or “serious punch” and survive whatever attack he faces for the comedic shot of him saying “okay”.
Batman stands a better chance because bats victories come from the same power – narrative convenience.
Here’s the thing, that’s how ALL characters work. Take superman, sometimes a couple grams of kryptonite is practically crippling to him. In other stories he lifts a fricking continent made of kryptonite into space.
I love comics and the wild variety of characters and stories that come with them (especially when different writers have cool ideas) but I find it incredibly frustrating that they are so wildly inconsistent about powers and weaknesses.
Saitama isn’t inconsistent. He is exactly as strong and durable as he needs to be for the punchline. It’s in the name of the title.
Don’t forget Batman’s power to dumb everything around him down so he can be useful. He’d be the only person to ever think of making Saitama hit himself and for some reason that would work. It’d cost her a hand but Kitty Pryde could squish his brain. I wonder if Psycho Pirate’s powers would work on Saitama.
Saitama is pretty much infinitely powered but he exists in a manga trope filled universe so odds are an angry Lois Lane can beat the crap out of him.
Not so sure about that. Superman’s power level is pretty variable; the most obvious case being when he was “killed” by Doomsday in the Death of Superman arc. (IMO Superman was not just underpowered but actively stupid in that fight; Doomsday couldn’t fly, so Superman would have been best off just knocking him into the Sun or something similar. But I digress.)
OTOH Saitama has (since he started his amateur hero schtick) never been scratched or bruised, even by the being who shows up in the final episodes of the anime who is self-described as the most powerful in the galaxy.
Basically we have a character who we have seen hurt fighting against a character we haven’t. I would be reluctant to bet on Superman in that fight. Remember we’ve seen Saitama throw punches where the shockwave blew away mountains.
Of course Saitama’s invulnerability and strength is pretty much a mechanism for comedy; the guy has anti-power fantasies, where he dreams about coming up against somebody who can give him a fight he actually finds challenging.
But the two live in different universes anyway – different rule sets. For all we know Saitama’s powers are driven by kryptonite. We really just don’t know.

I would love to see this cross over happen.
A massive sprawling free for all between the greatest heros in history, all ruined by a bald headed dork.
It would be glorious…
The dude did a 100 push ups. There’s just no way Superman can compete with that.
