This is Hirohiko Araki. He does two things: churn out JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and refuse to age.
As Kotaku previously reported (here and here), the manga artist is famous in Japan for not appearing to grow old as the rest of us do. The fact that his appearance has stayed the same for years is a meme in Japan. Every time a new photo of Araki appears, the country’s internet marvels at his eternal youth.
For good reason. This guy is 55 years old. He does not look it. At all.

Recently, Araki was profiled on Japanese TV, which should help erase that this is mere Photoshop.

This is sorcery.
Time to add it to the collection of Araki photos, which begins when he was a young man in the year 3000 BC.

It’s the power of the mysterious Stone Mask! He has transcended humanity!
We need to stop him with some cunning tricks!
Well clearly this is because the story of Dio’s encounter with the stone mask is auto-biographical and was altered in Jojo’s bizarre adventure to be more believable. The real life inspiration for the Joestar bloodline failed.
Unicorn blood; human fetuses; vampirism… It’s gotta be one of those.
Being asian.
Wait till he hits 60, then he’ll look 300
A fast metabolism helps. People see photos of me and think I’m 25 when I’m actually 40.
