      6gb ram.... wow... that's so random O_o

Not really, it's a standard base level ram setup for an older socket 1366 machine (well that or 3GB).

Really? But they usually come in 2gb or 4gb sticks? Seems random in that I can't recall ever seeing a game with minimum or recommended specs for 6gb before.

            Triple channel memory.

            So 3 x 2gb.

Also, I imagine they simply ran the game on their systems, looked at how much ram it was using up, added some leeway for future patches/features/DLC and came up with 6gb.

Well yeah, just a random observation :) Generally games have 2 or 4gb (8 becoming more common these days), just interesting seeing 6 of all things pop up.

Watch Dogs had min 6GB - I think it stems from the fact that Xbone and PS4 use only 6GB of RAM for games

More than likely. Played WD on my pc recently, by god it was so boring... I mean it had AC 1's syndrome. Great concept, great idea. Poor execution.

I bought WD SpecEd on STEAM for less than 10 bucks.. too bad ubisofts shit DRM won't even allow me to play the game...just refuses to connect to their server when I try to give them the serial key to unlock the game, but of course the UbiSoft store feature works a treat. If The Division is the same....then Ubisoft will burn!!

Consoles have 8gb shared memory. Ie devs prolly allocate 2gb video 6gb system. Hence a lot of requirements for new ports are in that ballpark.

I'm just a poor peasant consoler.

Don't worry man I'm a PC gamer and legally blind so we're on the same playing feild.

I am also legally blind! *fistbump* LOL
But I can most certainly notice the different... more frame rate over actual visuals though.
Was playing fallout 4 the other day on a mates ps4 and all the random slowdowns and general slow fps was giving me massive motion sickness :S

40GB HDD?! If that's the download then I need a preload tonight please :p

I think this will go like destiny. People will complain about large lacking areas in the beta and others will say don't worry its just a beta (its really not, its more like a demo where they can stress test the server, everything else is done). Then the game comes out and it turns out the people complaining were right.
