Nice! Now if Square Enix would give us Star Ocean: Second Evolution on PS4, that’d be great. Please and thank you.
I don’t think I’ve ever played a jrpg worse than star ocean the last hope.
Had the same conversation with my brother last week. Totally agree. I wanted to like that game so badly.
I always had a weird reception to Valkyria Chronicles. On one hand, I really enjoyed the turn-based gameplay. On the other, the anime-esque characters and story really annoyed me. One particular moment was when the characters and villains are exploring the same ruins. After finding each other they pull out guns, aiming them at the leader, whose very death will end the war… then all promptly run outside to jump into their tanks.
They wouldn’t have killed him anyway. They knew that.
There is an anime of it that has that exact same moment.
I still have the original PS3 version with a load of DLC but never got far into it. Got stumped on having too many low level characters who couldn’t do the damage needed (such as a sniper taking out barrels to make things explode in one hit).
Want to get back into it but not buy it all over again.
Loved this and finished it on PS3 back when it first came out. Can’t see myself buying it again, but would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who missed out on the PS3 version.
Brilliant game. I bawled :'(
You know whyPS3 had no trophies, so I’ll happily play through on PS4; this game deserves platinum!
Yeah, that was pretty fucked. I remember texting my brother who had watched the anime (which I had, at the time, actually thought came first), and was like, “Tell me there’s a mulligan for this, or it’s a dream sequence or… SOMETHING I NEED TO KNOW THAT IT WILL BE OK.”
It was not.
Ill be picking this up since i think i didnt finish this, but i hope they release the sequels for the ps4 as well.
Sure. Why not? I could stand to own a third copy of this, I guess.
