An Adventure Game About Stopping Hitler

An Adventure Game About Stopping Hitler

Sebastian Frank: The Beer Hall Putsch is a video game about stopping Hitler. Fertile ground for a video game setting if ever there was one.

Set in Germany in the 1920s, you play as Frank, an old acquaintance of Hitler from before the First World War. Because he knows the budding dictator better than most, he can see what’s coming and is part of a movement aimed at halting Hitler’s rise to power.

It looks very cute, but then, it’s a game about Hitler and the complex political landscape of inter-war Germany, so shit will get darker than the art style suggests.

You can play a short demo here, while the full game is up on Indiegogo here.
