Fine Art: Star Wars Vs Studio Ghibli

Fine Art: Star Wars Vs Studio Ghibli

Inspired by CG+’s Star Wars: Reimagined contest (which we’ve already covered, and which he missed out on entering), artist Lap Pun Cheung has drawn a few images of his own taking the galaxy far, far away and injecting it up to its eyeballs with Studio Ghibli’s aesthetic.

We actually showcased Cheung’s work fairly recently, but this Star Wars stuff was just too good to not share (note the Vader image was actually done before the contest, great minds, etc etc).

You can see more Cheung’s work at his personal site and ArtStation page.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.
