Figure maker Neca has been doing great things with their video game appearance line over the past couple of years. Lance and Bill from Contra might be the best yet. It’s all about those bullets.
While the Q2 2016 release of Lance and Bill won’t include the awesome diorama the pair are featured on at Neca’s crowded Toy Fair 2016 booth, they will have amazingly accurate representations of machine gun fire and the greatest video game weapon of them all, Spread.
From afar they hang in the air. Probably. Shut up.
This is freaking brilliant.
The detail on these is pretty amazing for the line.
And in case Contra isn’t your Konami game of choice, there is another.
Closer.
Closer.
Is that a freaking floating head?
Both the Contra and Castlevania figures are looking at a second quarter 2016 release. Follow Neca on Twitter and they will never, ever stop tweeting. Those folks are nuts.

But where are the Probotector figures?
I haven’t bought a NECA toy since Claptrap and TF2 Pyro, so I have to ask if they’re still lumps of plastic masquerading as articulated figures, or if they’ve legitimately gotten better on the ‘action’ side of action figures.
