Nintendo’s first social app for smart devices, Miitomo, will be released in Australia on March 31.
Users need to sign up for a Nintendo Account at Miitomo.com before March 31 to get an email letting them know the Miitomo app is available for download. Those who preregister also receive Platinum Points for the My Nintendo Rewards program.
“With Miitomo, Nintendo takes its first step into the world of smart devices,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Miitomo brings the special Nintendo charm and polish that people around the world love to an entirely new format and audience.”

Sooooooo, whats it actually do.
What does it do? What *doesn’t* it do?
Oh, it does so many things it never stops. Oh, the things it does, my stars.
I think you’re needed in the basement.
Really looking forward to yet more whingeing about something new and different from Nintendo. Can’t wait. Yep.
Well maybe if they gave us something new and wanted we wouldn’t have to 😛
I’m more against social and mobile media BS.
I see that you’re a connoisseur of anti-social media as well. I tip my anarchy hat to you.
Hahaha, I love how some gamers act so tough.
Does this mean Australia get’s it first or do we have to wait till 11:59 pm
Well I checked twice today and it’s still not on the Google Play Store by far, so I’d say we wait until the Americans get it first.
