Old Japan Meets Disney

Old Japan Meets Disney

John Ramirez loves Japan. He’s also a Disney storyboard artist. This is where things get interesting.

“I try to mix my love of animated characters and old Japanese photos for a laugh,” Ramirez tells Kotaku. Many of the images are from the late 19th century and the early 20th century. Disney and Disney-influenced characters appear to seamlessly blend right in.
