Well, the next Mass Effect sure looks sick.
Mass Effect Andromeda follows a group of explorers trying to find a new place to call home — you can think of them as the aliens this time around. There’s a new galaxy, new planets, new characters, many of which you can spot in the trailer above. Oh, and the entire thing is on the Frostbite engine, which would explain why the game looks so damn pretty.
Also! Here’s the new protagonist, pictured above. Though I’m guessing you get a choice in gender, it’s pretty cool that Bioware is highlighting the female choice for the promotional materials at least.
Some images and GIFs of choice of some of the new stuff you can expect in Andromeda, from new locales, to new monsters, and even the Mako.

The Tempest looks baller as hell.
I wish we saw a little more today, but I can’t really complain. I’m really happy if this game gets delayed because I just want a complete game upon release.
I’m hoping it turns up at either MS or Sony’s conference.
Niccccccccccce
Sha-wing!
I was also hoping to see a bit more than this today, but it’s very pretty. I wonder if we’ll see another delay or if they’re just purposefully keeping a lot under wraps.
I want to go to there
Holy fuck.
Obligatory..
COD1 and ME1 will always be the two defining games for me. Turn up the intensity to 11, hand the player a good stage, and have them act out their own movies. Looking forward to the new ME; hope every room isn’t a new loading screen like ME3 was.
One thing in particular I hope they bring back for the new Mass Effect is the same quality of music that tied the first trilogy really well. Bring back Jack Wall!
