Xbox One and PC users might be busy sorting out who owns what mod, but at least both platforms get to play with them. Fallout 4 fans on PS4, on the other hand, are going to be left in the wilderness a little longer.

Bethesda confirmed early this morning that beta support for Fallout 4 mods on PS4 would be delayed, with no ETA on when a patch may arrive.
We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.

Xbox One users got a taste of FO4 mods in May, meaning PS4 users are already a couple of months behind. Hopefully it’s the sort of issue Bethesda can resolve sooner, rather than later. After all, I’m sure PS4 players want to play as a ghoul or have a gorilla companion for the wasteland as much as their Xbox counterparts do.

ah well, was waiting for MOD’s to release before venturing into the DLC – guess I gotta wait
Lame….
And that will always be the case, having a different OS to develop for will always be a problem. XBone and PC are so close now its going to be much easier for devs to ensure everything works on those two.
Yeah microsoft finally giving some love to the PC realising its the software that sells not the console, and 1 million sales across pc and xbone is better then 900k across xbone alone.
Between the Skyrim PS3 thing and now this, the Playstation really shouldn’t be your platform of choice if you’re a fan of Bethesda RPGs!
The last time I remember file size limits being an issue was the remastered version of Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath which never made it through to the Xbox 360 due to the 2GB size limit. I suspect the Xbox people learned some very valuable lessons because of that very public shitfight
