You probably won’t want to play as Aerith in Final Fantasy VII Monopoly, announced today for release in April 2017.
“Delve into the evolving city of Midgar in search of the latest business opportunities,” reads the description at online retailer Merchoid, where you can pre-order the game. “Perhaps you’ll buy up a string of plots for housing development for the people, or go industrial and build a Mako reactor plant.”
Merchoid’s selling FFVII Monopoly for $US53 ($71). Hopefully there are slap fights.

*Aeris
Oh the nostalgia….
Flame Wars.
Officially Aerith, translated to Aeris in the English version of FF7.
as one of my mates said when I showed him; I am excited and disappointed at the same time.
I think it was Aeris in the English version and Aerith in the Japanese version.

Pre-ordered.
Now to wait like a year. woo.
Seriously how is monopoly still a thing? Any board gamer worth his salt knows that monopoly is one of the most overrated board games of all time. Somehow it has stood the test of time when so many grrat independent games struggle to get off the ground. Youtube Dice Tower Reviews and you’ll stumble across a gem or two!
I like how you are getting angry at Monopoly without even playing it. This game has hurt us all. CURSE YOU MILTON BROTHERS!
Who said haven’t played it? Half of my childhood was spent with the family hosting yet another monopoly night. I’d hardly say I am angry, more dissapointed we haven’t moved on after what almost 100 years?
Pretty sure he meant you aren’t currently playing it and it is still making you angry
Ahh how easily one can misunderstand text.
There are countless “better” boardgames sure, but Monopoly walks that fine line between simplicity and depth better than a lot of other games. Pick-up-and-play-ness is one of the defining factors of a hugely successful board game.
Will the picture of “You have won 1st place in a beauty padgent” card be Cloud in drag?
