Video: If you’re anything like me and have been fiending for a new Phantasy Star since the Sega Genesis days, allow me to present Cosmic Star Heroine, a game that may scratch that itch.
I’ve been following Cosmic Star Heroine since the folks at Zeboyd Games crowdfunded it on Kickstarter back in 2013. It’s a turn-based sci-fi RPG that draws from Chrono Trigger and Suikoden, among other inspirations, which is basically Jason Schreier Bait. (It helps that the developers have a solid history with games like Cthulhu Saves The World and Breath of Death VII.)
Zeboyd says Cosmic Star Heroine will be out in the US and Europe this winter for $US15 ($20), on both PS4 and Vita. Release dates for Australia and New Zealand have not been announced, however the developers have indicated plans for a Playstation release. Check out the new trailer to see the game in action:

Is it me, or is PC version of games in these announcements usually not mentioned? Small bonus from Sony if you omit that annoying little fact?
That’s the closest the current gen can get to exclusives.
Exclusives*.
I kicked this and I’m really looking forward to it.
