Sandusky, Ohio may not be the first location that leaps to mind when it comes to world-beating cosplay, but every year many of the world’s best make the pilgrimage to Kalahari Resort’s Colossalcon for one of the biggest cons of the year.
Why Sandusky? Because the Kalahari is a resort with a tropical-themed swimming pool and some beautiful surrounding countryside, which means cosplayers and photographers can get a little crazier than usual.
Among thousands of others, photographers Anna Fischer, Dave Yang, Kayhettin Elysiam, Martin Wong, Genia Baida and Mineralblu were there, and you’ll see some of their best photos below. Some are from the con’s big pool party (complete with cosplayers’ custom pool outfits), others are from the rest of the show.

Adding in a note of what character they are would really help. I can only pick Master Yi and what I am guessing are some Overwatch characters.

I was going to make a somewhat disparaging remark that nobody cares who the cosplayers are just tell us who the characters are.
