Ubisoft just announced a new series, Steep. It’s an open world mountain sports game about skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and probably falling down a lot.
It will be out this December on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

geometricsI’d rather live in a world where developers choose tasteful, fitting in game advertising to generate profit over anti-consumer micro-transactions. It actually adds to the immersion for me rather than taking away. After all, we live in a world of advertising.
Of course, knowing Ubisoft, they’ll just do both.

The only game I’ve ever played that nailed the feeling of boarding in powder wasn’t even a snowboarding game. It was Journey. Make it play like that and I’m sold.
