Another Fancy Schmancy Physical Setup For Kerbal Space Program

I could totally do that… If I wanted to…

Check out this schmick looking hardware from SgtNoodle which appeared over at Hackaday.

We’ve featured custom physical setups for Kerbal Space Program before, and people also love making crazy kinds of in-game ships (it’s especially awesome when they work!). As games go, it warrants the extra attention and love. It does seem that whoever loads the game gets sucked into a vortex of physics and sandbox experimentation, finally reappearing weeks later when they’ve made it into space. At that point in the story I imagine them looking like Tom Hanks in Castaway.

This one features a three-axis joystick for Z-control while landing modules and the like. I love the old-school dials. And how about that detailed Kerbal logo on the top?

It looks like it could take a fair bit of punishment, too. A crash landing, even.
