Artist Is Hiding Tiny Pokemon Around Pokestops

Dallas artist Nichole’s Nerdy Knots has started making cute little knitted pocket monsters and leaving them hidden around town in Pokemon GO Pokestops.

There are no plans to sell these; she’s just leaving them lying around for kids and fans to discover on their own, while encouraging others to download her plans and make their own to add to the fun.

Here’s a batch of four that were recently hidden in a local park:

Last night I hid these 4 at my local park. There are 3 pokestops and 2 gyms. I hid the pokeball and Poliwag at pokestops, Oddish at a gym, and Magikarp I hid near water because… well… water pokemon. I did one lap around after I hid them all and two were already found. In 20 more minutes the third was found. Magikarp was last and hardest to find but he was found within 2 hours.

If you’re wondering about the point of this if they’re not being sold, you probably don’t have kids:

You can see more of Nicole’s work at her Facebook page. And if you’re in Dallas and see one, take some pics!
