A new 3D Mario game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, announced today. The Switch will be released in early 2017.
It’s not a side-scroller, but a 3D game along the lines of Super Mario Galaxy. The graphics look great:

Nintendo really can’t win. No Mario game for new console launch? Rage. Mario game for console launch? Yawn.
The girl in the video takes it to the rooftop party and plays 2 player, so that might indicate that it’s multiplayer.
Is that a euphemism?
