17 Minutes Of Gameplay From Creepy Co-Op Shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing

I’ll never say no to a co-op game set in the Warhammer universe, especially if it has anything at all to do with Space Hulk. So, yeah, Space Hulk: Deathwing is a thing, a thing that will available early next month and while we all wait patiently for its release, here’s 20 minutes of fun from the solo campaign.

Deathwing is being developed by Streum On Studio, the same people responsible for the “rough-around-the-edges-but-still-quite-interesting” E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. It’s a good match and the gameplay clip does a good job of reflecting this.

The video was accompanied by an lengthy description on Deathwing’s Steam page, which provides some details about its content:

[Deathwing] features a solo campaign written in collaboration with Black Library author and Dark Angels specialist, Gav Thorpe, as well as cooperative multiplayer … Clocking at around 15 hours of gameplay in normal difficulty mode — more when playing on harder difficulty and if players take time to explore, finding hidden relics on the way — the campaign boasts huge environments, with lots of optional areas and secret rooms to discover.

Although the official release isn’t until December 9, if you grab the pre-order, you’ll be able to take part in the beta at the end of this month.
