MOOD, the same guys behind the very successful Fall of Gods (and who have worked on games like Hitman) are back with another “cinematic novel”, this one called Brimstone.
They call these things a “crossover between written novel and gorgeous concept art from movies”, combining page after page of big, high quality art with a short-ish story linking all the images together.
Brimstone is “a contemporary coming-of-age tale set in a treacherous realm that exists beneath our world. It’s the story of a gifted girl thrust into a wilderness of wonder and terror, where she’s forced to face her deepest fears and grapple with the dangers that lurk within and around her.”
MOOD have worked with writer Will Simmons on the book, which is available on Kickstarter.
