I certainly won’t be playing it all weekend, but you can bet your bloody bottom dollar that I’ll be doing at least a little bit of peep bowling.
After months and months of testing, Planet Coaster is finally out! It’s actually been a good year if you’re a RollerCoaster Tycoon tragic: while RollerCoaster Tycoon World has been absolutely panned from pillar to post, Planet Coaster has looked remarkably impressive and Parkitect does a good job of mirroring the style and spirit of the classics.
I saw an alpha version earlier this year and it was just the sandbox mode, so it’ll be fun to go through and check out the challenges and campaign. I usually do better when I have boundaries, or at least goals, to work with when it comes to sims.
Other than that, I’ll probably be doing a bit more Control and Supremacy in Destiny. Rise of Iron is probably going to end up being one of my games of the year, I’ve enjoyed it so much.
But what about you? What are you playing this weekend?

Probably going to be Blood Dragon for me, cos I’m a poor man and I can’t afford nice new shiny things
You could do a lot worse than blood dragon!
Yeah sure could! Been enjoying what I’ve played so far. The tutorial was hilarious! 😀
I want to dive back into Overwatch
I want to excavate my save file of Witcher 3.
I want to try and finish Persona 4.
I want have a crack at the Gwent beta I just got told I can play now.
I need to check back in with Paper Mario Colour Splash.
But I’m probably going to be playing Pokemon the whole time.
PS4 – continuing my first blind playthrough of Deus Ex Mankind Divided. The game world is massive compared to Human Revolution! Also will be doing some Overwatch at some point.
PS Vita – Just finished getting all the trophies in Shutshimi (pretty decent little game for a PS+ title) and now am definitely not playing Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni. I cannot confirm whether the storyline is any good, and I can’t tell you what it’s like to be spotted on the bus doing the ‘touching’ mini-game to level up the various girls.
Pokemon Sun all weekend!
I’ve been speedrunning Trauma Center Under the Knife 2 for a little while now. Got my time down to 2 hours, 16 minutes and 3 seconds (world record is 2:12:53). Hoping to push my time a bit closer to world record.
I’ve also started playing Kingdom Hearts 2 again. If I don’t throw my PS3 out the window because of all the plodding cutscenes, that will probably be on the list too.
Nice PB for TCUtK2. Keep at it!
I’ve taken minutes off of my PB almost every time I’ve completed a run. I’m pretty confident that without any new tricks being discovered, we could get the WR below 2:10. Lots of room for improvement.
Dishonoured 2 has got me in its hooks, really enjoying it. Visually unique, the world itself feels real. If you got the Pro and wanted a title to drop your jaw it did it for me, I didn’t expect it but it looks greaf upscaled.
Titanfall 2
Witcher 3
MLB the Show 16
Moon of the pokemans variety
Possibly Morrowind
Probably more Race (Chase?) the Sun – the game sucks me back in occasionally
Gonna try to get back into the Division and maybe break it up with some Titanfall 2 multiplayer while there’s a chance people are still playing it. Great game but completely gutted by not being Battlefield or CoD.
No games until late in the weekend.. Surfing and some Mountain bike riding then keen to get into The Witness on the Xbone come Sunday night though! Hoping the wife will enjoy the puzzles with me.
Getting back into Elite Dangerous again, it’s so therapeutic it’s crazy!! Last night I jumped on around 9 and thought “I might just have a cruise around do a couple of missions”, next minute it’s freaking midnight!!
After the success of last weekend (I played through the campaigns of Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, and CoD: Infinite Warfare). I thought I’d follow up with Cod:MW Remastered, before finishing Forza Horizon 3, and getting back to Mafia 3.
Also, the remastered CoD doesn’t look great.
I mean, it looks better than the original MW, but compared to Titanfall 2 it looks unfortunate, compared to Infinite Warfare it looks like arse… and compared to Battlefield 1 it looks like shite.
Jumping into Sword Art Online: Hollow Realisation for me although now that I’ve finished a Low Chaos run through of Dishonored 2 I kind of feel like I just want to go through and cause as much chaos as I can.
Onto my second playthrough of Dishonored and will be playing some Planet Coaster as well.
Yep will be playing Planet Coaster.
Overcooked.
Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon.
Pokémon Moon!!!
I’m watching my nephews tomorrow so it’ll be a day of Lego Dimensions, Lego Jurassic World, Minecraft and Yo Kai Watch.
Tonight and Sunday, though, will be mostly about Watch Dogs 2. Might try some of the newer PSVR games too.
Rocksmith, Minecraft (new FTB pack on 1.10.2!), Dishonored 2… and likely some Shenzhen, which came out today. Only a few levels in, but I’m a sucker for programming puzzle games, and this one looks to be pretty darn cool – it’s by the same guys that made TIS-100, Infinifactory and SpaceChem.
Motorsport Manager will be my addiction this weekend. F1 fans should definitley check it out.
And of course BF1.
Still playing Skyrim Special Edition.
More Battlefield 1…so pretty ‘n smooth on ps4pro. What masterstoke to take the series back to WWI. I haven’t this much fun on an military MP FPS since COD Modern Warfare 2.
I’m trying to like BF1 but it just isn’t grabbing me.
pokemon sun and planet coaster!
