After launching on Xbox One, Elite: Dangerous is coming to the PlayStation 4 next year.
Slated for a second quarter release, the PS4 version of Frontier Developments’ popular space sim will come with all expansions to date, the Horizons season pass and additional control options that take advantage of the Dual Shock 4 touch pad.

Any word if it will support PSVR? On PC it supports the VIVE and Oculus.
So can anyone comment on how the controls are on X-Box?
I don’t play the X-box version, but I use an X-box-style controller on the PC version, and it plays absolutely fine. You would have issues going up against top level human players with expensive flight sticks in pvp with an x-box controller, but that isn’t an issue on the X-box version due to the game not having crossplay.
Thanks for this. I’ve had PC player friends saying it would be impossible on controller or impossible without a flightstick.
If this game is good enough, I’d buy that thrustmaster HOTAS for PS4 for this, assuming it’s supported.
I play on the Xbox with the controller and it works no problem at all. Obviously if you want to go all out get the HOTAS.
