I know you were all worried it might not, but rest easy: Knack 2 exists. Sony has revealed that a sequel to the original launch title for the PS4 is in the works and groovier than ever.
Mark Cerny, lead architect and producer on the PS4 and Vita, but perhaps best known for the arcade classic, Marble Madness, was the first game’s director, and called it, “a little bit like Crash Bandicoot, and a little bit like Katamari Damacy.”
Even if the actual game that resulted left many uninspired, it also left plenty of room for a sequel to improve on it. Take a look for yourself:
Second time’s a charm?
In a “candid talk” about his legacy, Cerny said he has not had the same track record as someone like Todd Howard of Skyrim fame. “You have to ask: ‘If I were to do nothing but focus on making a game for the necessary five to seven years for that scale where you have to build a team as well, could I even do that?’ he told Stephen Totilo in an interview two years ago.
However Knack 2 turns out, one thing’s for sure: those floating, disembodies blocks are going to be as giggly as ever.

I actually really enjoyed the first one. I got it and Killzone with my PS4, have played about an hour Killzone but finished Knack.
The dunkey memes tho
This. He called it years ago.
Ahhh, so that’s why Knack hasn’t been a PS+ offering yet. They’re saving it to fuel the hype for Knack 2.
Yep everyone’s waiting for their free copy of Knack and over on the Xbone – Ryse, yet they never come
For a split second watching that trailer I though it was a remaster on the same console, I swear some of the areas I saw were copy/pasted from the first game
