It’s obvious that the Touch Bar has some functionality. Someone already got the original DOOM running in the tiny gap, but it wasn’t really “playable”.
This, however, is actually useful. Apple said you could rig the Touch Bar up to be used with other applications, and that’s what DemiPixel has done – by adding a bunch of shortcuts for talking shit in Rocket League chat, quitting the game, and searching for matches.
Perfect.

That’s less showing that it’s handy, and more just showing it’s not completely useless (I think we all agree that it’s not useless, just not particularly useful…)

Buttonless touch keyboards have been around for years. The Cool Leaf board is probably the most well-known example.
