The food antics of XV was just about the best part of the game! :p
Awkward Zombie is splendid, as usual.
But the real award has to go to Manly Mannerson for its brilliant joke.
I had to click through to the original to try and figure out what was going on.
Worst MGDMT ever 😛 (I hate Bladerunner)
Must… resist urge… to misuse… down vote arrow…
It can be misused? 😛
I believe it’s linked to the moderating system – I got flagged a few times a while back for poking some gamer gate types and wound up having to wait for moderation on every subsequent post I made.
You don’t deserve that, even if you are miserable pile of wrong opinions. =p
Ah yeah, I forgot about that bit. Had it a couple of times myself, couldn’t even do upvotes on Giz and LH for ages even though I never particularly did anything to offend anyone over there. Not that I even post there much.
I do like to poke at the bear a bit with it, because it’s funny to say to people “I watched Iron Man, the four Indy movies and Bladerunner in a marathon with some friends, and BR was the worst thing I saw that night”. I did go into it wanting to like it though, it had a good rep and I’d always thought it sounded like the kind of thing I’d like. But then it just turned out to be a boring movie that takes forever for nothing to happen, or something. I forget exactly, that was like… wow, eight years ago now.
Yeah, I can imagine the energetic action movies not making the ideal aperitif to the grim sci-fi noir piece.
I’d recommend taking another look at it with that fact that it’s a bit of a slow burn in mind. It’s a genuinely good film.
Actually, Mike didn’t draw that Penny Arcade comic due to his emergency hernia surgery. That particular comic was Kris Straub.
