November 11th, 2009 at 2:02 PMThis one may have been covered already, but I was wondering if the rise in prices of games (at EB especially) from $100 to $110 and increasingly to $120 is them passing on the increased cost from publishers, distributors etc to keep their margins, or is it them just raising the price to increase their margins just because they can? JB usually sells new releases for $80-$100, so I was curious for the reason for the discrepancy

October 20th, 2009 at 7:48 PMActually, From Software developed it. SCEJ published it in Japan and the rest of Asia, and Atlus USA picked up the publishing rights for North America. Which is why it’s not out here: Atlus doesn’t have a PAL publishing arm :’(
That said, yeah Atlus make killer games :D

October 17th, 2009 at 7:31 PMUncharted 2. I didn’t have much time to play it on Thursday what with one thing and another, so I was going to play it for half an hour or so that night, and before I knew it it was 2am. I can’t believe how much they’ve improved over the first one (which I loved).

Also I just popped Dead Space back into my PS3 the other day (only ever got to chapter 3 before I got distracted with other stuff), and was really enjoying that, so I’ll probably try to get further in that.
