Mass Effect, Joker DLC Asterisks: Play Before You Play

I agree, it is almost like buying an extended edition of the game and then demanding to be able to access any level at any point. It’s not the way the game is set up to be played. As pointed out in the DLC description, it requires a certain level of gameplay to access (Just like every other level/sub-plot in the game). It is not a new game like in GTA IV and it is not simply a new map like GoW or Halo. It is an extension to the pre-existing story line and an intergrated part of the game. Ofcourse you are welcome to be personaly frustrated by your situation, but I hardly think that there is an actual issue here.

Not necessarily true. If it is online multiplayer then there is no rating for online games in Australia. And there is an Exempt from classification rating in Australia, however exempt material can not exceed the parameters set for PG entertainment. Since it is unlikely that user created material will be individually inspected then it cannot be rated. However, this begs the question “Why is LittleBigPlanet ok?”.
But my point is this. I doubt it has too much to do with Australian ratings.
Maybe they require server space that isn’t available for other areas of the world yet. It could be a cost thing. Storing and sharing all that user content is surly done server side, otherwise when the client logs off xbox live the other users have to wait to continue the download.
If it is money making and successful I am sure we will see it eventually.

That is assuming that it’s not a purposeful viralesque campaign… which it is. If you want everyone to know about it, don’t tell anyone about it, just let them know it exists.
