A Letter From Michael Atkinson
November 16th, 2009 at 2:31 PMIts simple, first as adults we should have the right to decide what we want to watch or play and it is the parents decision what there kids play not the governments.l I hate the use of statistics. They are always false or used incorrectly. First as Australia is an aging population that means that most people who answered that survay are probably over, lets say, 25. Also, that first question is worded strange. You can also take it to mean that if a game is MA would i buy it over a game that is G? The answer, no iIbuy games that are good so i so ratings dont effect how i choose. Now if they added for your children, would people have changed there answer. Is that why is was worded like that so the statistics can be used for arguments either way.
HMMMMMM MAYBE.
Ok i am done. I feel much better.

EB's Modern Warfare 2 Australian Midnight Launch Blitz
November 9th, 2009 at 11:17 AMI am pretty sure most GAME stores are doing a midnight launch as well. They have a bunch of specials on other stuff as well. I am not sure what but they are ment to be pretty good. I dont think all of them are doing it so i’d give your local one a call first to make sure.

Good Game Explains Why Junglist Was Axed
October 30th, 2009 at 11:21 AMI agree, that Forza review was pretty poor, I play a fair few of the driving games and the points they raised were all the points I already knew from previews and the like. I wanted a more “Hardcore” review covering driving models and stuff like that. Maybe a comparison between Shift and GT5 would be good too. That chick had really no input in that review at all too, now that I think about it.
Good Game Explains Why Junglist Was Axed
October 30th, 2009 at 9:55 AMFrom what I saw on Monday night, Hex is qulified to report on these games, but just dosent have that passion that comes across through the camera. It semed forced, rigid and rehearsed. The things she was saying were apt and relevant, I just didn’t get the same vibe from her than from Jung. It’s a shame, remember, he has been there a long time and knows his shit. She wears too much make up too.
Forza Motorsport 3 Review: Definitively Maybe
October 29th, 2009 at 10:56 AMIf you want decent oppenents, play online. Real people are always more fun to smash.
Forza Motorsport 3 Review: Definitively Maybe
October 29th, 2009 at 10:54 AMI play a lot of Sim racers on PC. GTR Evo and rFactor are some of the best driving models, still. I have not seen a console game come as close as those two. I have now played all 3 of the “sim” racers for consoles, Shift, Forza and GT5. I feel the driving model in shift was the most accurate, and fun. Forza seemed too pokey aorund the tracks, and just a bit too arcadey. This is not a bad thing, I really enjoyed Grid for that reason, but definitive driving experience? Don’t think so. Get GTR evo for that, it just dosent look as nice. Good game though
Do You Strive For Gamerscore Completion?
October 29th, 2009 at 9:59 AMI must be honest, Ifa game is released on PC with games for windows live acheivments, IT might sway me to purchase. I enjoy having the added incentive of the gamerscore and acheivments, being able to compare what your mates have done in the game too. I have out scored plenty of my 360 buddies in gamerscore and they have hundreds of games to choose from. |Games for Windows Lve has like 10. Gives the game another layer of replayability
Dog Bites Man's Live Account
October 24th, 2009 at 10:07 AMThats pretty cool, not sure if it is real, but who cares? A good story. I had my cocker spaniel chew a video card from my PC once, had just taken it out to put the new joy in, put it on the bed while installng the new one, turned around and it was gone. Little shit

Borderlands' Creative Boss Lives Up To His Loot Promises
October 23rd, 2009 at 12:06 PMWhat about us PC gamers in Australia? I think it’s a really good marketing tool for them, get people excited about the game, show them what comes later on in the game, and show your customers how passionate you are for your product. I Pre-Orderd on Steam and would love to play with some dev’s, mainly to share in the passion and excitment they bring. The heads of gearbox were out here in September and showed some real passion to their creation. I think it’s cool they share that with their fan base too.

Comparing Gran Turismo 5 Locations With Real Locations
August 26th, 2009 at 4:27 PMIts not a simulator though, hit a wall at 100km/h and keep going? I don’t think so. It’s still a racing game. Go look at GTR evo for a real, full on simulator.
Aussie Charts: Cricket Beats Some Yank Sport
August 26th, 2009 at 4:04 PMCricket is a great game, for cricket fans. And the last one came out in ‘06, and is way too dated to play now, i’m glad they made another one and would be happy if they were yearly anyway..
