I really think the industry should show that they aren’t going to pander to our government. It’ll be bad for us in the short term, but pressure needs to be put on how important an R rating is. I have to say, it might kick a bit of apathy out of the gaming community as a whole on this issue. Whether your a parent or not, if your a mature gamer we need this.
After all, there’s plenty of options for us to import in the meantime. To show that it means a loss of revenue on our shores, both from importing and illegally downloading.

This is just becoming such a crock of shit, Sony brought the first backwards compatible into the market, but that didnt mean they had to KEEP doing it.

I mean geez, no other company has even attempted it, sony did it at the start of the life cycle, those who wanted backwards compatibility so much, should’ve bought a launch console. Who knows, perhaps sony wouldnt have saw fit to SAVE money if sales were better in the early life of the console.

It’s tough love, you either track down a launch ps3, or here’s a thought, just get a ps2, especially if u dont even see urself playing ps3 games.

There’s plenty of ppl happy with their ps3’s, it’s not even a question, ofcourse we agree, we choose it over the 360.

I see looots of douches thinking they know economics, and know what’s best for a gaming console. The fact is though, if u don’t want wifi, high def movies, web browser, excellent dvd upscaling, great 1st party games, etc, etc then just shutup and be happy with the “better” gaming console u already have.

There’s ppl like myself who happen to think that the features of the ps3 are not just worth the price point, but even the games on offer are of just better stock, get over it. When are ppl going to learn (microsoft included) that being fuckwits aren’t going to change someone’s opinions of preferences. It just hardens our resolve to just say to u all simply – no, lol.

Don't Expect PS3 Games On Demand Any Time Soon

even multiplat games sometimes take up a greater amount of space, so it’s not silly at all. I really don’t find the idea appealing to download a full 20 gig game even, which is no where near a full bluray and almost a third of my bandwidth allownace.

What is offered on the store is enough for the level of bandwidth that especially australia has.
