I played the living hell out of the game. I loved it, and was the first shooter I ever really got into on the console. But in my opinion, console shooters need to have a cover system to compensate for not having a mouse for accuracy and a keyboard for a peak option.

It still would work, even with the Auger. It just means people can't stay behind cover indefinitely.

Either way, I'm going to buy this game, because the game was just that solid to begin with. The variety of weapons alone makes it a worth-while buy. But I am just tossing out my Christmas wish list.

I hope Insomniac to do a striking and deep history along the sequel,they got a huge sea of possibilities to make an epic history,is really fun and interesting the "what if" fact that Resistance manages,just as(but much better in Resistance)Turning Point Fall of Liberty.The first part was cool and we hope Insomniac get even better with the sequel.

Having just started a new game on resistance to enjoy with the dual shock, i have found the game to be superb, Auger fire raining through evry wall around you is thrilling.

Insomniac should give lessons to other developers on how to actually go out and make a good PS3 game and have fun doing it rather than bitching about how difficult it is to develop for the PS3. I should go back to playing some Resistance online every once in a while, but I've been playing Warhawk every time that I want to play online. I never really know how to decide which shooter game I want to play. I guess I have just gotten used to Warhawk's controls and the vehicles are nice. I should probably go back and beat Resistance on Hard, too, but I just now finally finished R&C.

I used to hate the controls but this game seems to do something differently.
Halo 3 is nice, but personally, I'm getting games that heavily rely on online only for my PC,
Warhawk being the only exception so far.

I might be the only person in the world that feels this way, but I prefer the console control on FPS over mouse and keyboard controls. I don't like to have to keep picking up my mouse to walk. I guess it might just be that I've never gotten used to using a mouse and keyboard for gaming in general, except for Sim City.

Resistance was a gret game, but hardly anything to dote so endlessly over. Who's falling in love with console shooters through this game? Maybe if the only system they've ever had was a Playstation system. It just reeks of the crowd who hates Halo because the "mindless, ignorant, sheeple, cattle, Madden" gamers buy it (objectively Halo 3 has higher metacritic and gameranking scores than Resistance). I also would like the PC masturbation to go elsewhere, I'm content playing FPS on a console (seeing as how my computers are always out of date) and I'd appreciate not having to come across posters who condescend and sneer at console FPS because they just need handicaps to save them from the inferior control scheme. You can reply with witty retorts, or asking me to calm down (so politely too to make me seem the barbarian by comparison) because it's only a game etc. but these repeated assertions and nodding consent beg for an opposing opinion.

Many games on the Ps3 Shall be Great The only problem that the Ps3 had was The amount of games on its console and the Fanbase/userbase was small because the XBOX360 came out now in this next year... things should turn out better and lean in favor of the PS3. This is a great game from what i understand i own am Xbox360 but have decided to buy a ps3 for its amazing games currently and to come. Resistance will be one of the games i plan on playing.

I prefer console shooters over the ones for the PC. Pointing at something and shooting it seems way too easy... for me at least.
