@njhardcoreguy: Resident Evil needed an overhaul to acknowledge the problems people have had with that franchicse for years, as well as breath new life into a truly aging gameplay mechanic. Devil May Cry is still fairly new, and if the system isn't broke, It doesn't need fixing. Wouldn't want an over-the-shoulder DMC or RPG God of War for that matter either.

@ Topic: It feels like eating desert right before dinner is served. The game is right around the corner, and before you know it, It's right in your hands. Almost feels a little pointless to anticipate a demo so close to the full versions release. Oh well, I need a warm-up for the real thing anyway.

@gustavopr: Neither is the case. This is what appears to be the reason: After the fall update I my family settings were suddenly changed so I am no longer able to download mature content. I can't remember my Live ID password so I'm locked out of the Xbox Live section of family settings. I can't have my password e-mailed to me because the e-mail account tied to it is long gone and I can't remember the secret question's answer.
You see my predicament, yes?

1) You are using a live account from some other country, so you don't pass the IP check or
2) You are simply just too young to download it, which I don't think is your case.

I don't get why everyone's so excited. It's DMC, you know what to expect. Playing the demo, you'll walk away thinking "Yup, that was Devil May Cry 4." and go on with your life.

I'll probably buy this, but I don't think a demo is going to shed anything new or exciting.

In terms of gameplay, DMC4 is the shit. However, I do agree that they need to up the ante in terms of level design, regardless of how artistically beautiful it is.

@feartheraven: No. That would allow you to setup several accounts on one box and then transfer those accounts to other boxes for the price of one. You'll either need to wait a week or setup a new account. I think you still get a 30 day gold trial w/each new account you setup.

if you add xbox live gold to your account, does it go to all accounts on the hard drive? i recently added a 3 months worth to my minors account with all my achievements so i have to download this using my adult acount that i didn't redeem the code for.

@Jamez: I don't know what you are talking about I was just able to download not only the Frontlines demo but two episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles off of live the other day. And I just played COD4 online last night. I haven't had any problems with Live for ahwile now.

Yea, the Culdcept Saga demo is one of the few that I've played over and over. That's how I know I want to buy the game. The only other demos I played nonstop till I got the game were Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 (PSX Underground sampler FTW!), Peggle Extreme, Super Mario 64, and Dead Rising.

I've only got a silver account so I'll have to wait a week to play it. But a week after that the full game comes out. This is stupid and makes the demo a bit redundant for silver members. Why do silver members have to get screwed over like this? MS need to change this policy as PS3 owners don't have this problem.

Does anyone know why the European price has the ps3 version more expensive than the 360 version? In England there is a £10 difference between the two formats.
I checked the gamestop website and they seem to be selling both for the same price in the US.
I was planning on getting it for the ps3 but if there is going to be a £10 price difference (roughly $20) then unless the ps3 version is a lot better somehow I'll probably end up getting the 360 version.

If your desperate enough just do what I did and make a separate silver account for free and make sure all the settings say your old enough. And as long as the content you download is on the console you want its accessable to any other account on that HDD. Don't even bother trying to contact MS they probably won't be able to help you.

@wizardofoz85: Most reviews are saying, if you have the option, get the PS3 version for better framerates, no load times, arguably better controls, etc. After all, the game was designed around the DualShock controller.
