Sure it's true but people will evaluate it based on your last mistake since it has a negative slant. It's the same reason why you see people bring up RROD in every situation possible; primarily in news that has nothing to do with 360. It's the price of LIVE being good for so long and Microsoft highlighting that service. It's bound to be kicked in the stomach and curb-stomped when it's down. I just hope they iron out this (final?) bug.

I've been having nothing but problems with Live since that damned Fall update.

i have stopped playing because matches in halo 3 are so crazy laggy.that when i stick a spiky or a plasma on someones face and i see it get stuck and it blows up and all the shinanigans i get killed...and they dont!!so i put a rest to it until it gets fixed for now no multiplayer for my 360 folks ill stick with pc or ds and some mobile games since i have not been home in a while.

What I loved about the Xbox system OS and Live was what Windows was no where near it. Now that they're pushing Vista crud and other such Windows Live crap there have been many problems. Why did they fix what wasn't broken? Good Lord....

I also came to the realization that while my PC can't run it well, COD4 would be a lot more fun on the 360 if I could use a freakin' mouse.

i am usually a room host but lately it is a bit hard to do so. and when you finally have a room up and running the people just pop in and pop out just that fast. meaning that one second i have 12 people in the room the next i have 15 and the next 9 and when it gets to 16 and i pres start ill end up with a game of 13 >.< but still i have to say that the biggest problems are really over.

So i get my 360 back from repiars today. to find out live is screwing up. Takes 4 hours for me to recover my account then....the damn 360 dies....and i just got it back today! im pissed. so ill be sending it out for a 3rd time. twice with in the same month even.

I just got my 360 back last night and I put it through its paces. After a good play last night, the downloads were a little slower than I thought they should have been, but I was able to stay on Live and everything seemed normal. Hopefully these issues will be short lived.

The only game i've been playing online this year has been COD4.

I haven't had a problem getting Matchmaking going in 12 days.

As long as I don't go too fast viewing Friends of Friends it doesn't lag at all.

I've been having problems ever since Day 1. Each time I try to log in to Live I get a "Loading" message on my Dashboard and everything disappears. It's still broken. However, my 360 works fine if I'm not logged in. WTF.

I had a fair amount of trouble with COD4 last night in matchmaking. I kept getting connection issues and was dropped from about %25 of the games before they finished (while our internet connection worked fine throughout the evening for my roommate on his computer).

It seems like there's a NEW problem that's popped up the last few days that I've fallen victim to. If you recover your gamertag, there's a chance that all of your gamesaves will be missing.

After doing some digging, there's a couple threads on XBox.com with posts from this week with people suddenly saying they're not losing Achievements during recovery anymore, they're just flat-out missing all their saves.

The saves appear to still be on the HDD... just no long attached to my gamertag. There seriously better be a fix to this.

I was diligently working on Assassins Creed last night and somewhere halfway through it said 'xbox live disconnected'. Not a biggy because AC is a single player game but still. Dashboard doesnt seem to want to load as well...

My Live account is still completely hosed. I'm lucky if I can even load the dashboard, let alone play a game. Wow, 27 days later and Microsoft still can't get things together. What a mess!

Yeah - after being completely fine for me for the past week, I got a disconnect immediately upon turning the box on, and had accessing the Store was slow when I did connect. But after that, it was all rosy.

or you can slide a few blades to the right if the game disc was already in and play it from there.

last night i was doing some stuff with my zune software and music collection and it said i should create a zune card to share my preferences with my friends, so i was gonna. you have to use your windows live id to sign into your zune account and it would not let me sign in. it kept saying that i wasn't connected to the internet. i clicked on help and it opened a webpage on the zune site for help! how's that for not connected to the internet? so yeah, something wrong with windows live id.

During peak times, dlc are a bit slow and sometime gamertags don't show completely. Able to connect fine in games though. After peak times, dlc are faster and gamertags show.

Getting a little better, was actually able to play two full rounds of CoD without getting kicked, before more of the same. Undertow's all well and good, but what I really want is for the actual gameplay to work so I'm not getting kicked in the middle of every match.
