Need for Speed ProStreet Get Energised

If the best things in life really are free, then it might be worth your while to check out Need for Speed ProStreet's free collection of downloads at the PlayStation Store. The Energizer Lithium Extender Pack offers two new cars (the Plymouth Road Runner and the SEAT Leon Cupra) and two new tracks (Leipzig Test Track and Tokyo Expressway). The Extender Pack also give you access to purchase 14 other new cars, including two of my favorites, the Bugatti Veyron and the Aston Martin DBR9. I can't help but succumb to daydreams of being an international spy when I hear the name "Aston Martin."
If that's not enough Need for Speed ProStreet for you, EA has also announced Energizer's Community Race Weekend, starting February 22. PS3 and Xbox 360 racers can compete for prizes and bragging rights, once they're registered at the official Race Day page.

I downloaded the extender pack for ps3 and got the 2 new cars and extra tracks, but where are the 14 new cars eveyone keeps talking about??? I can't see anything in the playstation store to download? Anyone's help is greatly appreciated as I have the zonda, lambo, etc and I need some new cars to use. Do you have to complete anything to get the 14 extra cars?

they are in there now. go to game add ons and you will see them. there is 4 downloads, but you have to pay for all of them, which stinks

i have bought the game add on's but they don't work or i can't find them. do you have to complete a race before you can use them or what? do they only work on version 1.30 of the game because i can't download it for some f**king reason. please help!!!

i cant access my downloaded cars either and i downloaded update 1.30 and i just gives me a black screen and thts it

@iRloading: I apologize for the double post. But isn't the aforementioned "free stuff" (plymouth/seat/leipzig/etc.) available from the get-go since update 1.10? the extender packs are not free although they unlock the 'unplayable' cars.

I hail from bizzaro world, I actually like the gameplay more than carbon and most wanted. still the bad things that go with the game (bugs, crashes, seeing cars you cant drive) outweigh the games better points. I never did like the 'outlaw cowboy' routine they had you going for in most wanted, freeroam and cop chases get tiring and unrealistic if the car is indestructible ('cept tires) :P

We got a free copy of the game at work, because we did the Castrol graphics in the game...
Even as a free game to play during work, I'd rather be working.

where are the"free" stuff.. becasues everything but the demo and video on the PSN for NFS cost money... someone wanna point me in the right direction.

@Nintenboy01: She had kind of an odd face to begin with, and then when they digitized her into the game, it became even more odd. More disconcerting than hot.

@xpnet: Well I was never a fan of the 'homogenized by-the-book' approach of NFS: PS, I preferred the 'Hot Pursuit meets NFS Underground' approach of NFS: Carbon (even if the Wii version does lack the '09 Concept Camaro :( )

i played it before, yes. my friend let me borrow it. in my opinion, it sucked. but i guess that's just me. they should bring Hot Pursuit games back.. or underground.

Most Wanted was very good, Carbon was lame, and the demo for Pro Street left me decidedly unimpressed.

I bought every single one of the Need For Speed games until this one. I think they topped out at Underground 2. I downloaded the demo and it sucked. Maybe I'll get the DLC if it makes ProStreet stop sucking.

@Nintenboy01: I agree. It's fun to race on city streets because you can't (or shouldn't) do that in real life. Plus I don't want to run from the cops in real life cuz of the consequences but in a game it's a good time.

I liked Most Wanted and the original NFS Underground best. Controlled circuit races are too bleh for this series IMO.
