I didn't really care about the new BC but when I saw the trailer for Rearmed that changed entirely. Somehow I missed the original as a kid, but this one looks very cool.

I don't know when they added it, but there's one or two playable demos for Ryu ga Gotoku: Kenzan on the Japanese store now. I played the first demo and it was pretty fun.

The major frame rate drops happen when it is loading off the memory stick, this hopefully shouldn't be an issue on the UMD.

@jiSh: There's a pretty big rumor going around that Factor 5 is finally releasing a patch for the game with analog controls. This could lead to another promotional push for the game.

Anyway, this update is about a 7/10 on my personal FAIL-o-Meter. Could be worse, but the GoW PSP demo and Bionic Commando Rearmed trailer are about the only good things this time around.

I was already savvy enough to get the PixelJunk Monsters demo from the Japan store a while back. At least it finally came out in the States so that all you people on the fence could realize what you were missing.

What I'm really pissed about though is the supposed PAIN update.

Travis Williams (senior producer of PAIN) posted in his most recent blog on the PAIN site about an update today, which was to include the following:

- Leaderboards reset (this was actually going to get me playing again)
- 'Fun with Explosives' single player mode
- 'Hung Lo' character (ninja)

He promised the update today, but...wait for it...

the god of war demo is very impressive although it has some odd frame drops that seem to happen consistently in the same spots. I assume stuff like that has been cleared up in the time since this demo was made (the umd demo came out a while back)

Have you ever played God of War on the PS2? The PSP version plays very much like that one. I thought the demo was pretty great. Visually speaking it's one of the best PSP games I've seen, and I love action games like that.

Got the God of War demo. Great fun, but not THAT great in my opinion. I think I'll put off getting it for a while. I'm more looking forward to Crisis Core and Smash Bros. right now anyway.
