When has a Playstation owner not waited a long period of time for a new GT game? This time, we have Prologue with online play and (promised) updates - enough to satisfy my cravings. It's not sooo bad. Those making a big deal about it either need some patience or need to stop attacking the PS3 when you don't own one. Besides, there are many other games that I - as a PS3 owner (who'd have guessed?! =P) - am looking forwards to.

Could somebody point me to a release date for GT5? I must be out of the loop or something, because I haven't actually seen one yet. And a game can't be delayed if there's no release date yet. Same with FF13. Could be anytime between 2008-2010 as far as we know.

But the lack of information for each game doesn't bode well for a release this year. Games like FF13 and GT5 doesn't just pop-up out of nowhere.

i've already been playing prologue for over 2 months, almost 4 by the time it's released here, so as long as it's released somewhere n the world in 2008 i don't mind. i'd rather have an english-language version (prologue is easy enough but once you add more events, modifications, etc it might start to get difficult), but i actually wouldn't mind importing from japan and then selling it to get the UK version once it's released with a game like GT

It's not useless, you could transfer game save data from GT4 Prologue to GT4 to give yourself a head-start (The first two liecences and 100,000 credits I think).
It's a shame if the delay is true, but it is GT, it's expected.

@TaMs: I sort of agree, but would you like it if every company released copies of games half made? Would you buy FFXIII if it only had 3 stages of the game, 2 bosses, 20 enemy tipes and 30 items? If it's not a good idea to get it for every game then it's probably not a good idea to get it for any. I've never liked the idea of prologue as it charges you £20 for less than half a game, when you finally get the full game prologue is useless too.

Can't really say it's that big of a surprise, I mean come on Prologue is coming out this year, and it would be pretty ridiculous for them to ship a 40 dollar "preview" version of the game and then the full version in the same year.

It does seem though that all of the PS3's BIG releases (MGS, FFXIII, GT5) have all seen pretty significant hold-ups in terms of release. I mean those are PS3's big guns in terms of exclusive games, and there nowhere to be seen at 2 years after the systems release.

It won't hurt PS3 in the long run, I'm just surprised that at least one of them isn't already available.
