From what I understand, the Turning Point game has been completely revamped from the demo, and looks much better. I actually like the concept, so I will give the game a chance.

As far as Frontlines, goes, I liked the demo, thought the graphics were excellent (on a CRT HDTV), and think that the storyline is topical and interesting enough to give the game a chance. I have learned enough not to judge a game by its demo.

It was a pretty good weekend of games for me already: snagged some PS2 RPG's I've been meaning to get into - Xenosaga II (6 bucks!) and Valkyrie Profile 2 (13 bucks!) - and went ahead to take advantage of a sale at Target and nabbed Warhawk, with help from a coupon, for $35.

That, and both Patapon and God of War are coming for the PSP in the next week and a half....I think my wallet is going to need a break

I wanted this game since they announced it. To me it's a spiritual successor to Loco Roco, with amazing art, interesting gameplay, and awesome music/sounds.

Mazes of Fate sounds interesting as well, but I haven't even been able to pick up Professor Layton and I really, really want it. Damn sucky paychecks....good thing Patapon is affordable!!

@Kirbytheslayer: In-Kirby XMB: Actually the patapons can only really go foward. The only time when they go backwards is when they regroup with the banner carrier and thats something done automatically. I do wish I could send them backwards on the map at times though. :x

@GUNDAM-RX-78-2: The garage is just superior to the headphones I have. They're Sony "offical" ones, and they are the shittiest headphones in existence.

How bad? You know how standard headphones have the audio jack thingy, it leads up on a cord to a thicker thingy, that splits into two for each headphone, right?

Well, the ones I have, for some insane reason, were place in a weird way. If you start at the thicker thingy at the center, there's definitely one side with one cord, and another side with two cords. The problem is, the two side has one headphone, and one line to the jack. The other side has the other headphone. And the headphone on the double side has a 2 inch cord. That means I have to play with my head at a 90 degree angle if I'm using the headphones.

I'm sticking with the garage for now.

On the plus side, I just traded in some games I'll never play again at my store, so now when Brawl hits I'll be getting the game for free!

Until then, though...it's Lost Odyssey and DMC4 for me, while I try to finish off Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.
