I think the cat should have been allowed to win, considering how little it enjoyed playing. Maybe it was the look the dog gave the cat that caused that particular 'script choice'.

As a cat lover I was getting ready to be pissed, but it is mostly a cat puppet that's being jerked around on a string. The cat is complaining at being confined.

A cat that was strapped to a sofa and was really having its paw jerked around like that would emit more that an irritated yowl,it'd go NUTS.

Still, I hope it scratched the bejesus out of everyone involved afterwards.
