Seriously, this and super monkey ball look sweet. The graphic look to be at at least ds level, and the accelerometer controls seem pretty smooth. I'm hyped. HYPED!

@Mokka: The iPhone is estimated to have 256MB of RAM (the 80GB iPod has 64MB, the 5th gen had 32MB).

The DS has 4MB of RAM. It appears that the 3D chipset in the iPhone can also run circles around the DS (which can only draw up to about 2048 triangles at a time, and has a max texture size of 4KB.

Graphically, the iPhone probably runs circles around the DS. On the other hand, graphical capabilities have nothing to do with the success of a gaming platform.

Yes, I was referring to the long awaited Guns N' Roses album. Apparently the album (and 3 others) are finished and there's some squabble over money. However I remain skeptical.

I saw them live a couple of times in 2006 and they're quite good. Which is why I really hope that album actually comes out, but after waiting a decade plus, I'm not holding my breath.

It's just you. Casual games tend to run on hardware that exists for other purposes. You don't need a gaming rig to play Peggle. A 3-year-old $500 Dell laptop will do just fine. That also goes for media players (like the iphone/ipod touch), cell phones (with the exception of the ngage), etc. You're not getting less by paying more, because you're only buy small, inexpensive games. People aren't paying more for hardware to play casual games.

Why complain about 3G? I think the only place where I don't get wifi access is in my car. EDGE is good enough for web browsing while driving.

Either make 'unique' games OR 'better' games cause you aren't gonna drive people to the damn thing for those rehash games.

I guess this is cool, if you call yourself a gamer but don't have any mobile gaming device... or are a 'casual' gamer.

@bennifer3000: actualy, there is democracy in china. in the rural towns they hold elections for town representatives. unfortunatly if the wrong person wins, the authorities manage to gloss things over pritty quick so a good comunist wins after a recount.
