Gallery: Megaman Starforce 2

Capcom welcomes another MegaMan game into the fold with the impending release of MegaMan Starforce 2. I suppose it would actually be more correct to say two games as two different versions of this DS title will be available: Zerker x Saurian and Zerker x Ninja. The gameplay takes place in two different worlds, the human real world or the virtual "Wave World" which can be reached by transforming into Megaman. Battles are carried out with a card system and online capabilities will allow you to share cards and status upgrades with your friends. There is definitely strength in numbers and the more friends you have registered, the stronger your powers will become.
The following gallery contains shots from each of the games as well as some character art. Both titles will be released simultaneously in June for $US 29.95.

EXE 1 sparked my interest. 2 Made me love the series. 3 was alright. 4 became excessive.
loved the transformations and battles though...
and i managed to catch the anime series based of EXE. The japanese version which was fair. Then again... too many sequels spoils the entire thing.

Hey I GOT A GREAT IDEA FOR A BRAND NEW MEGAMAN PEOPLE, we take EVERYTHING from battlenetwork and make the battles in first person.

@Rocci1212: That's what I've been saying. Legends 3 or something... I don't think there will be a Mega Man 9 since that would be Mega Man X1 or was it Mega Man and Bass. It's been so long since there has been a good Mega Man game, I forgot Canon.

Battle Network 2 & 3 were arguably the best, but than it was all downhill from there. A shame, because they were really good in my opinion.

I couldn't beat ZXA :( That level with ALL the bosses was REAAAALLY hard, then you had to fight the final boss (twice) without having your HP restored EVAR!

Has there been no word on a sequel to ZXA? The ZX series has been really quite strong, and ZXA was actually an improvement over the first in many ways. A third entry in the series is only common sense, and (semi-spoiler warning) the secret ending to ZXA left it more than wide open for a sequel, more so than the first game did.
Starforce was Ok, but as someone who played ever Battle Network game, ALL SIX OF THEM, I don't particularly care for this sequel.

I am not very happy with those games. They sucks! I want Megaman 9 nor Megaman Legends 3 nor Megaman X9.. They are better than Battle Network series and Starforce series because they are annoying and bored to me.

Its weird how Battle Network was almost like an ultimate form of fan service, with the wicked looking remakes of the originals that makes you pain for them to actually be in your little nes cartridge when you go back to them, yet it takes the approach a lot of shows are going to get new viewers into it which is throw some shitty little kids into the mix that I guess you are suppose to "relate to" (see: Transformers), effectively alienating a major portion of the older gamers. No one cares about some shitty little kid and his friends that like to pretend they are Norton Antivirus; we just want more of the blue bomber. We can relate to robots, I promise--look at Optimus Prime! I was more attached to him than I was to my father.

I only liked the First Battle Network. The sequels and the Starforce Secondary generations are repetitive and aren't very creative. :( I miss Mega Man X, Zero, ZX or even the Regular.
I wonder when they'll make another Mega Man Legends.

Well I've never played anything besides Starforce, and the other games look interesting, but I don't have enough money for 'em. Anyways, I think the first Starforce was awesome, and I can't wait for the second to come to the US. Sonia Sky/Sonia Strumm and LyraNote/HarpNote rocked! I just hope there will be more of her in the next game!
