There will probably be more Metal Gear games, but I wouldn't count on them being directed by Kojima.

What'd really be cool is an updated release of Policenauts, in ENGLISH as well. I have the Saturn version, and the graphics are beautiful. But not being able to understand a damn thing going on with the Japanese dialogue kills any fun. With an unofficial translation patch cooking online (with an unknown finish date), what would be a better time than now to harness the PS3's power and fully render the game in 3D?

After he said he was finished with the series after Metal Gear Solid 3, another Boktai/Lunar Knights, and the PSP games.

So now that he is done with the series after Metal Gear Solid 4? I'm going on a limb and saying, some kind of handheld stealth game that may or may not feature a vampire, while at the same time creating something with a mech to fight in.
Then he'll announce Metal Gear Solid 5.

Kojima likes mechs battling. And he's fantastic at making epic shit like it's the fourth of July. The Zone of the Enders games were AWESOME. They had fast mech-battling, smooth visuals, and decent story.

And there's a certain franchise which Konami owns the game rights right now. A franchise which has been wronged by two bad games so far.
