I want a guy who looks like link. from the game. I thought to myself that I might as well be honest. I look like zelda, so why not ask for it? who knows.. I know theres a guy like that. I happened to speak with her a little a while back (we're both Zelda cosplayers), and I thought she was nice. I really wish she hadn't requested all of that about finding her Link in such detail (but I'm mostly just concerned about girls trying to find guys on the internet), but I can't say I found it all amusing. Leave her alone, she's still pretty young. I wish the anonymity of the internet didn't make people so mean.

@disavian: I don't want to sound insulting, so take this with a grain of salt: you look more like a creepy cousin of link, you know, like the one who tries to get Zelda when she's drunk and can't tell the difference. It's just, did Link wear glasses? Not counting some kind of power-up to help him see through walls.

As for me, I'd like to think I'm a chivalry, old school gentleman (In a world of rap/pop likely disrespectful assholes, also: see "Arrested Development") who prefers to be silent among others (mostly); but I also look like M. Night with glasses, or so I'm told... Oh, I did attempt to build a Master Sword/Hylian Shield, The sword was never finished and the shield doesn't contain anything LoZ-ese (but it's at least reflective with a thick layer of Aluminum Foil tape and top layer of clear floral plastic :)

I dono I think it's cool that she's trying to find a Link, if my hair didn't curl when longer and I weren't already taken I probably wouldn't anyway... since it's craigslist and I would likely end up stabbed for my GBASP and kidneys. All the same, what's not to love about an attractive woman who enjoys videogames, possibly a bit more than most males. Then again, I don't think that most guys would expect any sort of a reply from a posting looking for a girl similar to Aerith.

@vanderblade: A very amusing comment, sir :) I used the term "cosplayer" somewhat incorrectly there, I think. I meant "I have this relevant costume and wore it to Dragon*Con and on Halloween."
And sadly, I need these glasses to see. Maybe I'll invest in some contacts by D*Con 2008. Even with them, the Link costume draws out the fangirls like few other things. (As opposed to a Jedi costume, for example)
