I want this game, but I don't think I can bring myself to spend 50 dollars on it. I'll tell you this much, though... I would definitely spend 50 on this before I would on Smash Bros. Brawl.
But I'm crazy and don't enjoy Smash Bros. Do I get mauled now?

I was already excited about this game. Then I heard it will feature Johnny Lee-style head tracking. Now, I am...jubilant!

Can anyone explain how Spielberg involved with this game in anyway? It looks more like something Michael Bay would make:
I am thrilled that a fella like Spielberg is taking on gaming. If nothing else, his participation lends credence to the marketplace and can only result in greater exposure and greater recognition for this, our beloved hobby.
The game looks like fun too. Yet another (hopefully) title that will be pick-up-and-playable.
I say bring it on Steven! And while you're at it, invite Martin, Francis, and the Cohens...but let Uwe Boll cool his jets for a while. He's not helping things.

@Sinnbox: I'm pretty sure that that's the artistic style you're seeing. Notice the word "Blox" in the game's name? That means that the blocky characters are INTENTIONAL. No, the Wii isn't anywhere near the PS3 or 360 in terms of what it can do graphically, but these are far from "bad" graphics.
The only thing that bothers me about the game is that I feel like I don't know anything about it yet, and this is after months of coverage/mentions online and a short article in EGM. I'll probably hold off until I can find a review or something that will give me a better idea of what I'm in for...but any kind of puzzle game that features blowing stuff up is always worth a look in my book.

This game looks so candy coated I feel my teeth rotting just looking at the pictures. I actually think it's going to be a good game, although I still know so little about it.
Boom Blox should be the name of a sexually transmitted infection. Someone get on that.

I'm surprised the 'Steven Speilberg' credit isn't that big. Someone would actually have to get up close to be able to see it.
I was expecting some along the lines of 'STEVEN SPEILBERG PRESENTS AN EA GAME' in massive print. Otherwise this just looks like a plain ol' puzzle game.

Hey! From what I understand, EA actually tried to figure out the Wii-mote for this game. So, that's a good thing, I figure.

Does anybody remember Crossbows and Catapults from the 80's? This game keeps reminding me of that.
(Which, just to be clear, is a very good thing.)
